GHANA - THE CENTER OF THE WORLD TOUR
Ghana officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country in West Africa. It abuts the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, sharing borders with Ivory Coast in the west, Burkina Faso in the north, and Togo in the east. Ghana, where the Greenwich Meridian runs southwards through the ocean to meet the equator at the center of the earth. Thus, the Greenwich meridian (longitude zero degrees) meets with latitude zero degrees at the south of Ghana.
Ghana covers an area of 238,535 km2 (92,099 sq mi), spanning diverse biomes that range from coastal savannas to tropical rainforests. With nearly 31 million inhabitants (according to 2021 census), Ghana is the second-most populous country in West Africa, after Nigeria. The capital and largest city is Accra; other major cities are Kumasi, Tema, Tamale, and Sekondi-Takoradi.
Ghana is one of the safer African countries, as well as the hospitality and friendliness of the people, which has made it a popular tourist destination and an obvious first port of call to the African continent which has made it the gateway to Africa.

DAY 1: AKWAABA (Saturday 2nd Nov. 2024)
Welcome to Ghana! We say AKWAABA which means welcome! Your adventure begins as you touch the land of Ghana foot right at the Kotoka International Airport. We arrange to welcome and receive you at the airport with a private shuttle that will take you straight to your hotel in no time. Once settled, you will be briefed and get to know the tour team and have the rest of the time to decompress. In the evening, we'll enjoy a scrumptious dinner at a local restaurant. Your unforgettable experience in Ghana is about to begin!
DAY 2: ACCRA CITY TOUR (Sunday 3rd Nov. 2024)
Your Ghana adventure begins with a tour within the Greater Accra Region, specifically Accra. Accra is the capital city of the region as well as the Country. It is the largest and most populous city in the country. It is situated on the Atlantic Coast about 25km west of the Greenwich Meridian. It has been the capital since 1877 and has a population estimated around 3-4 million. It is a relatively modern city with a few high-rise buildings, however, one can still find some old colonial buildings in some parts. Currently Kotoka is the country's only international airport and this can be located just about 12km from the center of the city. We take a full day Tour to visit;

DAY 3: VOLTA TOUR (Monday 4th Nov. 2024)
The Volta Region is an area of extraordinary scenic beauty bordered by the Volta Lake to the east, Atlantic Ocean in the south, Togo to the west and the Oti region to the north. Its landscape of rolling hills and valleys, with rocky outcrops, lagoons, rivers and waterfalls, is one of nature's most attractive gifts to Ghana. DAY 4: ASHANTI TOUR (Tuesday 5th Nov. 2024)
The Ashanti Region of Ghana is a kingdom of gold, history and culture. Occupying a central portion of modern Ghana, the region is the hub of the ancient kingdom of the Ashantis, and still the heartland for all Ashantis, wherever they may now be. A visit to Ashanti region must include Kumasi, being the ancient capital of the region founded in 1695 by the Ashanti King called Asantehene, Osei Tutu, where palaces, museums, forts and churches reveal the distinct cultural and historic backdrop for the festivals and ceremonies that are still important today. DAY 6: CENTRAL UP TOUR (Thursday 7th Nov. 2024)
The Central Region of Ghana is known as "The Heartbeat of Ghana's Tourism" because of its pivotal role in the development of tourism in the country, and its wealth of beaches, forts and castles, festivals and forests. Cape Coast is the capital city and also the first capital city of Britain's Gold Coast colony. It is popularly referred to as "Oguaa". The Central Region in south Ghana is also renowned for its elite higher education institutions and an economy based on an abundance of industrial minerals.
