Ghana officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country in West Africa. It abuts the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, sharing borders with Ivory Coast in the west, Burkina Faso in the north, and Togo in the east. With nearly 31 million inhabitants (according to 2021 census), Ghana is the second-most populous country in West Africa, after Nigeria. Welcome to Ghana! We say AKWAABA which means welcome! Your adventure begins as you touch the land of Ghana foot right at the Kotoka International Airport. We arrange to welcome and receive you at the airport with a private shuttle that will take you straight to your hotel in no time. DAY 2: ACCRA CITY TOUR (Sunday 6th October, 2024)
Your Ghana adventure begins with a tour within the Greater Accra Region, specifically Accra. Accra is the capital city of the region as well as the Country. It is the largest and most populous city in the country. It is situated on the Atlantic Coast about 25km west of the Greenwich Meridian. It has been the capital since 1877 and has a population estimated around 3-4 million. It is a relatively modern city with a few high-rise buildings, however, one can still find some old colonial buildings in some parts. Currently Kotoka is the country's only international airport and this can be located just about 12km from the center of the city. We take a full day Tour to visit;
